In fact, the first time I tried search on "ms-theater" I got a full page of results that seemed to have little to do with anything related. Now I am trying again and I get NO results, and am asked:

http://www.informabr.com.br/tcp2000.htm reports the "ms-theater" port as a "known port", FWIW.
http://www.informabr.com.br/tcp1024.htm lists the "mini-sql" port.

http://kjb.net/nextra/kjb_nexmain.html links an "MS Theater Server and TV" together; again FWIW the /theater link/site seems to be dead, maybe it's been subsumed into the TV offering, which is alive and well.

Why VFP8 would interact with either, I've no idea. Are you certain you have no other service (esp. multimedia) active that might be doing this?
