Louis -

This sounds like the approach I would think one would have to do in order to introduce VMP "on top of" the existing application. It is, however, what I am trying to avoid. The current application is made up of hundreds of individual .APPs, thousands of .PRGs, .SCXs (some 2.6, some visual forms), hundreds or thousands of reports... Additionally the entire application is scheduled to be decommissioned "any day now" (you know, the same way COBOL was going to die 20 years ago?).

So I'd really rather find something that could be implemented on a form-by-form, object-by-object basis... But I will keep this in mind. Thanks!
