Thanks Jim, sending all of the codes in one shot instead of in separate ??? commands worked. It finally is working on all of the 3 forms that were exhibiting problems. Wish I had thought of that!

>Tracy, try a CHR(27)+CHR(125)+CHR(0) as a replacement for your 'reset'. If the I-Prime is at default, the buffer finishes printing, and the pitch and quality go to power on defaults.
