I am having a similar crash every single time there is an error in VFP.

Here is my event log information:

The description for Event ID ( 1000 ) in Source ( Microsoft Visual FoxPro ) cannot be found. The local computer may not have the necessary registry information or message DLL files to display messages from a remote computer. The following information is part of the event: vfp8.exe, 8.0.0.2521, vfp8.exe, 8.0.0.2521, 0001dbef.

I did a complete installation of VFP with all the prereqs. The only thing special is that I had problems installing the SOAP toolkit 3.0 and I called microsoft. They gave me a special installation because there was a conflict with a hotfix in my Win2K installation.
