I made a slight mistake in my last message - I meant to say don't make this available on Win 98, only on 2000 and XP.

Yes, I'm trying to avoid using a proprietary solution because :

a) this introduces dependancies - we have enough already
b) it could cost us, or our clients money

(This is not my decision - I definitely don't believe in doing things on the cheap or not using 3rd party libraries or all of this stuff, but these are the rules I'm having to work to).
