Here, Here,

There's an old saying, "If you don't vote, you don't have a right to complain." Besides being scared of the trade deficit, the national debt, unemployment, I am adding to the list the fear of losing the right for my vote to be counted. It's amazing that after 250 years we are just beginning to spot holes in our voting procedures. Maybe I look through life with rose colored glasses, but it seems pretty simple to me. If an election is too close to call, you have a run off. If there is any question as to whether someone has the right to vote, the results should be held back until the discrepency is straightened out. If you don't like the person who was elected by the majority of the people, you have to wait until the next election and try and support a different candidate. If you don't like the way the census divided up the electorial districts, you have to wait until the next census. What's happening to this country!?
