Louis,
You might also add here "Don't vote for ____________. You are wasting your vote." in the case where a candidate has little hope of winning. Once again I plea for "None of the above" to be added to every ballot. Now every vote counts. I believe our elected officials live in fear of this. It would have been very interesting to see the results of our last Presidential election with this in place, to see truely the will of the people. Otherwise, I see nothing wrong with your statements below and agree fully. Disclaimer: I AM NOT A LAWYER.

>There's an old saying, "If you don't vote, you don't have a right to complain." Besides being scared of the trade deficit, the national debt, unemployment, I am adding to the list the fear of losing the right for my vote to be counted. It's amazing that after 250 years we are just beginning to spot holes in our voting procedures. Maybe I look through life with rose colored glasses, but it seems pretty simple to me. If an election is too close to call, you have a run off. If there is any question as to whether someone has the right to vote, the results should be held back until the discrepency is straightened out. If you don't like the person who was elected by the majority of the people, you have to wait until the next election and try and support a different candidate. If you don't like the way the census divided up the electorial districts, you have to wait until the next census. What's happening to this country!?
