Yeah, that's what I thought. And it does -- sort of. When logging into Windows NT, the server automatically logs into the Netware server using the same username/password and that works fine. The netware server even shows up as a primary node under Network Neighborhod like other windows servers (as opposed to under Entire Network/Netware ...). But obviously the internal authentication varies somewhat. My guess is that SQL Server is attempting some NT-type authentication to the netware server and failing.
I've also tried changing the MSSQLSERVICE login to "System Account" with "Allow Service to Interact with Desktop" checked; but this apparently does not allow it to see the mapped novell drive.
I'd appreciate any other suggestions you can think of.
