when it comes to views on California's power outages. Lucky for me I don't live there, but then I didn't receive any help when I did live there. I was there for the 89 quake. I was in Monterrey, CA and I spent three days without power or even water following that one. I spent the entire time out in the city helping illegal immigrants get food, clothing, and water because they had nothing after the quake. No one brought me any supplies when I lost power for 3 days following Hurricane Fran. I didn't ask for help either though and I didn't need it to be frank. Losing power is certainly uncomfortable but not dangerous unless you have a health condition or there is a security threat. I'm afraid I am callous now...

Let everyone enjoy power outages for whatever reason. Perhaps a power outage would help wake up our nations capitol! No, that would be asking too much - that is our nations capitol waking up! :)
