Our tap water is fine - probably better than in much of Europe. What's wrong with yours? DC water was questionable for a while there, and I don't know if they solved it.

A plastic gallon jug of distilled water or generic spring water from a grocery is around $1 per gallon, but any name brand water in a glass bottle is much more.
