Just wanted to add to my earlier reply. I can't speak for my daughter but I believe it would be a great experience for her to go to school in Montreal (aside from money) for the following reasons:
1. She would have a broader view of the world
2. She would learn French. She takes French in school, does well, and I am sure she would make an affort to learn it well. I love learning languages too (I know 3 so far), and I am sure it would also culturally enrich her.
But it is still not all up to me, not even up to my daughter.
P.S. One negative I see in Montreal is too many people smoke there <g>
