Amazing how a small grassroots campaign many years ago blossomed to where smokers are scorned (yes, I saw your grin) and smoking reviled.
If smoking was really as bad as it's made out to be none of us should have survived 18xx - 1965, when smoking was everywhere (including elevators, theatres, offices, studios, stores, hospitals, busses, trains, planes, schools, all sports events, indoors or out, and anywhere else you can think of except working with gasoline or gases or other highly combustible material). Not to mention all the wood/coal burned by everyone for heating and cooking back then. And the unleaded gasoline.
Second-hand smoke is the biggest fraud ever perpetrated on society at large. "They" ought to be looking at radio waves as the primary source of cancer rate increases since 1900 or so. I suspect it's probably been proven to be a serious factor but been hushed up because military/commerce needs radio waves. What about all the particulates put into the air by burning fossil fuels? Another cover-up I suspect, for military/commercial 'needs'.

Too many smokers... maybe when I retire it will be to Montreal.
