9 to 12 months the app started slowing down. 4 months ago the speed really went down. All hard drives are below 50% used and are 5 gig or larger. All files open but there is one file which is very large:

DBF 134,594 K
FPT 1,609,383 K

TOTAL 1,743,977 K or 1.7 GIG

Will a large FPT file cause a slowing down of the App?
Is there an upper linit - 2 GIG - as to the total size that the DBF and FPT files can be?
