I just now finished installing Apache on Windows XP Home Edition and it does not appear to work. I tried http://localhost and I get nothing, just an error that says "The page cannot be displayed". Do you know if Apache will work on a Windows XP Home machine?

When the Apache Server's Installation routine asked for the name of the domain, I responded with "localhost". My sole purpose is to use WebConnect on this XP machine. I really didn't want to have to upgrade at an additional outrageous cost to XP Professional
