IBM has ODBC driver that comes with Client Access. I believe they are based on NetSoft's router which also comes with ODBC. Both work with VFP but transfer rates are rather slow compaired to SQL server. Use TCPIP protocal for best transfer rates. Other 3rd party drivers are also available. For direct record access IBM is working on a product based on ADO. I know there are a few other products with direct access based on API interface but I don't have their names.
