Funny you mention this now, Jim. I'm just getting to the point where I'm really frustrated trying to remember everything. The two biggest problems I have with it is that either my username has already been used or the required combination of numbers/letters or length is not acceptable. I understand that I shouldn't want to use the exact same username and password for everything, but I believe the process should be better than what it is. I'm getting really bogged-down between my PC, websites, mobile phone and websites, my bank, my investments, work and miscellaneous places I need a "unique" login. I track them, but still!

>A headline in today's main page is titled "Password Rage" and says that people are frustrated by the large number of varying passwords that are necessary today.

>I can see that a gadgetaholic might have such trouble, but I'm interested in if this truly is affecting the average Joe/Josephine. My working theory is that this is another one of those planted "stories" aimed at preparing us (i.e. the masses) for some new product or a bigger push by MS to get PassPort (or some such) used more widely.
