Well, it IS some sort of a hassle, sometimes.

When creating an identity in Yahoo, "hilmar" was already in use, so I used "hilmarz". So far, this has worked in other places, too - provided I could choose the login. But for my password, I tried to use the same password in more than one place, but for instance, one site restricted me to a range of exactly 6-8 characters - no less than 6, no more than 8. Then, it turned out I had to share my password with coworkers, for instance, in some cases - so now I keep a "supersecret" password that only I use, and another one, that some other people know.

I found it convenient to store some lesser-used passwords and logins in a Word file in my computer - the file, in turn, is password-protected with my "supersecret" password.
