Hi Barbara,

Then it has nothing to do with the file associations

If you get -Invalid file descriptor- then it means vfp is in a messy state. ( When I get one of those, usually I have been debugging triggers). I then have to exit and restart vfp

Keep your fingers crossed ;-)

>Thanks Gregory. We had checked the file associations and they matched but we removed them all for JPG files and put them back in - no change.

As it still worked on other computers, we cleared out the local temp files and lo and behold it works. Why there were no errors issued for a full day I don't know. This will now be the first thing we do when his computer does this again.
