We have a Windows NT 4.0 Small Business Server whose Domain Name is "CDS". I just instaleld Winows XP Professional, so that we could connect directly to the domain (*rather than Workgroup) called "CDS".

I am able to connect My workstation's mapped drives automatically to the Windows NT 4.0 SB Server, upon Logon. However, for the drives mapped to our LINUX Samba_Server (NT compatible -sort of), my machine ends up not connected/mapped to the drivs on the Linux server. I end up with an error message upon boot up that says that some drives are not connected/mapped; those not connected are always the Linux Samba_Server.

I have to double click in Windows Explorer on the drive letter that is for the Samba_Server and it then presents me with a Logon dialog where I have to type in "cds/cecil" and then the password. Once I do this, then the drive letter is validated and I am connected.

Is there any way around this so that when I boot up, the connections are restored to the Samba Server?
