The file name is in the form "xxx xxxxx.xxx". The only way I could get COPY FILE to work was to rename the file 'xxxxxxxx.xxx', copy it , and then rename it to the original name in both places. Whew! One thing complicating the procedure was that I had to append a path to the file. I don't know for sure that made any difference...
A problem is a problem only as long as it has a possible solution. Lacking that, it becomes a FACT!
