A friend of mine asked me about a way to rename some files in a directory based on some logic. He would like to have it done from a DOS command but I don't think it's doable. Basically, all files in a directory should be renamed with the timestamp in it. As, when viewing from the thumbnail view, only the file name appears. So, it'd be nice to have it part of the file name (timestamp) so it'd be easier to know when the picture was taken, assuming picture files.

Is that doable from a DOS command? If not, I guess some VFP code would do it.
