Hi, Tracy,

>Having visited the UT often as well as a couple of other VFP internet locations, it is clear that some of the current MVPs truly go out of their way to support the VFP community and provide technical help whenever possible. More often than not, time is taken away from their own projects to do this. I have also noted that there are those that never seem to post anything or very little in the way of actual technical advice/recommendations so they must be helping out in some way I cannot see. I have wondered what other forums, message boards, or newsgroups are monitored for VFP technical assistance in considering MVP status. There must be a lot of VFP suport available out there that I am unaware of given my lack of VFP community knowledge.

I agree that any kind of award (not a random prize) is subjective. Some of them have more transparent rules and criteria.

Just for the record, I wanted to point that some names in this list are active outside the English-speaking community and UT. Isaac Venegas, Luis María Guayán and Pablo Roca are team who runs PortalFox, a good VFP resource in Spanish. José Marcenaro is bright man who use to present the best highly technical VFP sessions in Latin America.

Then are cases like Les Pinter. Les should have multiple MVP awards maybe, as he is an active VFP community member in Latin America, Brazil, USA, Russia... 8-P
