I have an application I created for a customer which has 2 server components that need to run as a service, but also have administrative interfaces. My problem is this: I can get the systray class to work and present the interface if the program is launched by current user. I can also get the app to run as a service using srvany.exe. If the app is running as a service, however, the icon does not show in the system tray to access the admin interface.

How can I allow access to the interface from an application set to run as a service?

For now, any user who logs on could be allowed to run the interface, but I would also like to be able to limit access to admins only at a later date.
