Hey Jim, thanks for the reply. The application does work (no framing error) under Win2k on my laptop which is a 1G machine. The hardware also works with an old dos app. The new machine that will eventually run the updated app is a 2G machine with WinXP. It is still getting the framing error. Thanks again for the help.

Will the bitrate form work with 9600 baud. The readme states that is good for 75 - 128K only?
