Hi, John.

>IMHO the most reliable way to avoid spam is to change e-mail address. There is a slight inconvenience from having to advise legitimate customers etc, but at 200spams/day I wouldn't hesitate. Then make sure your new e-mail address never appears on web pages, bulletin boards etc. Use a "dummy" hotmail address for sites that require e-mail registration; for company web pages that do need an email address, use one of the javascript or other mechanisms that assemble a visible e-mail address without actually including it in the page to be found by robots.

Thanks for the feedback. It looks a good solution for a moderate email user. In my case the amount of messages is so high that I just can't keep up with it.

By the same, it is nearly impossible for me to change email address. I have being using the same since about 6 years. This is about 10,000,000 Internet years, isn't it?

My address is used by too many customers, potential customers, vendors, partners, and other people which whom I don't keep constant contact, that I had to keep checking this address for a few years. In my case, lossing some emails could risk missing some business oportunitites. I could much easily change my phone number... 8-(

Thanks a lot and best regards,
