Hi Randy,

That "75 - 128K" should probably read "75 through 128000 inclusive", so yes, 9600 is fine. Just select your settings from the listboxes and hit "Fixed" and you should see the raw data. Keep an eye on the Events/Errors textbox and see if the framing errors continue. I have not tested it under XP yet, 98SE/NT4 SP6,Win2k SP3/4 only. I should have an XP Pro box inhouse by the end of the week - I'll let you know.

The hardware also works with an old dos app. The new machine that will eventually run the updated app is a 2G machine with WinXP. It is still getting the framing error. Thanks again for the help.
