Hi Lisa,
>
The default metadata table structure is covered in an appendix to the white paper here http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/dnfoxgen/html/appfrmwk.asp...That article addresses in a very crucial (to my concern) issue: the beginner (
"Describes how the Microsoft® Visual FoxPro® version 6.0 Application Framework, including the Application Wizard and Application Builder, can be used by the beginning developer...").
There is not currently (to my knowledge) any compreensive books devoted to the beginning VFP developer, where there could be found detailed information about VFP concepts, the IDE, the DBF and its usage, the programming language, tools etc, and going beyond that, with programming techniques and tips. I'm not talking about books to extend the knowledge of the experienced VFP developer but rather oriented like a course devoted to the novice. Hope you can understand what I mean.
Could you please give me your opinion (as a writer) if there is no more market for this kind of book or if there is no more people interested in writing this kind of book?
Best regards,
Fernando
