So if I use MySQL I have to get my users to have it on their machine when they buy the product? Wouldn't it be easier in that case to use something like Access? I know there are lots of apps out there that you can download and install that use db's but dont require you to have the database actually installed. Sorry if I'm confused. I haven't done pc development apps in a few years :) I stick to web based (mysql for everything...) so using mysql is appealing to me but not if I have to have them install it.
