Well, of course, there are some, but basically Mono tries to support as much as they can the Framework as is.

Mono doesn't support VB.NET. Yes, this is a propietary language, and it has been not submitted to any standards body as C# was. This is one of the issues you have to take in consideration when deciding between VB.NET and C#.
