Yesterday I read a response to a thread where a user was having problems with a slow opening project. One answer was to disable the scanning of network drives in Norton. Well I am having the same problem -when I try to open a VFP project, it takes more than 2 minutes for the project to open.

I have Norton Utilities with Norton AV. If I disable Auto Protect, the project pops up immediately. I don't have any option to scan network drives that I can find to uncheck. What is Norton scanning? I have excluded my project directory, the vfp directory, the vss directory, and the vss data directory.

Any ideas or pointers?
