Menus & Menu designer
Hi Tamar,
I'm not sure that we are doing the same thing here. If I select a different "Scheme" from the "Appearance" tab of the "Display Properties" dialog Word respects the settings for its menus.
Example. I pick the Scheme named "Windows Standard" and all applications mentioned in my previous message show the scheme correctly. However, if I then change the individual Menu Item color to something else (eg Lime Green Yuck!) and the Font color (to Red), guess what...Word, Excel, Outlook does NOT change its menu to reflect my settings!
VFP, IE, WinZip, Paintshop Pro and even the Windows shortcut menus do! So what's so special about Office apps that MS decided that they could "break the rules".
