You will enjoy Las Vegas much better if you do choose to venture out of the hotel (depending on the hotel). The gambling is all inside of the hotels and the beauty is outside. It is really cool to walk outside at night at see just how extreme the hotels really are. They are an art form in their own way. In addition, many of the hotels have very grand non-gambling areas that you would enjoy. The gardens at the Bellagio are beautiful as is the shopping are in the Venetian. There is a lot more to see in in Vegas besides gambling and sex.
