Mel have you replaced the codemine grid with a generic fox grid? I have a lookup screen using the codemine lookup that is able to get the names in less than a second from about 10,000 names. Have you checked indexes??? What about the network? Does it happen on all workstations? BTW now that Gb is so cheap I have been putting them into my servers and using a Gb switch. Man what a difference! Preview of very large reports takes a 1/3 of the time.
