Turns out that the issue was with my machine. Moved to my other machine and the events are firing off, not in the order I expected, but they are at least firing off.

My new issue is that when I move to another row, the record pointer in the file behind the grid does not move. I've tried keying off ActiveRow, but it keeps returning 0.

Any ideas?

>>Ok...now that that's out of the way, it's a base grid, free table as the control source and the control source is at the grid level. Columns 1 - 4 are Read Only (at the column level).

>>Yes, I'm moving off/out of the cell after I change the value. I've moved out using the Enter key, the Tab key and the mouse.

>>>i've never had these events not fire, so i apologize in advance if some of my questions seem patronizing - just trying to help :)
