Well, one would think that BeforRowCol would fire off when you go into the cell, and the AfterRowCol would fire off when you leave...but that's not what I'm seeing.
The ControlSource is a table (alias) that is created from 3 other tables. And the only updates are occuring (in the file) in the first record.
>>Turns out that the issue was with my machine. Moved to my other machine and the events are firing off, not in the order I expected, but they are at least firing off.

>hmm, what order are they firing and what did you expect? kind of a morbid curiosity's kicked in :)

>>My new issue is that when I move to another row, the record pointer in the file behind the grid does not move. I've tried keying off ActiveRow, but it keeps returning 0.

>What is your source - a table, cursor, etc? You're sure you're looking at the actual source? - e.g., if the source is a SELECT, then check resulting cursor
>How are you verifying that it's not moving the pointer?
>If it's updatable, do updates work correctly? if they do, then the record pointer must be moving... curiouser and curiouser
