Hi.
Pardon me for jumping in.
I think that Linux/Apache/JAVA world is targeted/threated (I don't know exactly how to say) by this new technology.
Having fat client applications, fast an powerful when is about interaction with the user, speed of execution, response time, UI stuff, will be a big win for Microsoft. I can imagine the time when actual HTML type interface will be declared as "obsolete". I understand that something like "querying remote data as well as local data" is prepared in Whidbey but would be interesting to know what this can mean.

Dorin.

>It's all web to me if it's using the internet whether it's in a web browser or not. Every modern computer language that's interested in remaining relevant to it's users has very strong web support nowadays. I would expect more from Europa than a footnote at the bottom of the page giving a very unclear description of better ASP.NET interop. Delphi, LINUX/Apache/JAVA, all have very strong web support and don't seemed engaged in marketing games with their users.

>>I have read news about longhorn, and mentioned longhorn encourage "web appication" via rich client, desktop application + indigo. Do you think web is dead? What should we go beside of .NET? What could be expected from VFP to support indigo?

>>Thank you
