Another good way to come out ahead is in a friendly game of black jack. The dealer get to call the game and always has the odds. If the dealer loses the deal, he can often buy it from the winner, who might not like being a dealer. By maintaining the deal, the dealer keeps the odds working in his favor. In many hands the dealer will bust the table before he even need to deal to his own hand.

The dealer wins all ties and usually will hit on sixteen, but stays on seventeen or above.
