If Mike found 5 cases where Fox was more flexible and you found 4 cases where .NET was more flexible that would prove that Fox was more flexible. You cannot seriously think that you winning ONE point ends the argument. That is totally illogical.

I did not frame the argument - Mike did. He kicked it off by saying Fox was more flexible. He threw it to me to establish some initial rules. I did. Fairly or unfairly, I couched them in a way that Fox could never prevail. Dave - when you are given the advantage on a silver plate.

Indeed - prevailing on just 1 point does not win the argument. This is assuming the other side rebuts. Mike is free to rebut with "Well, Fox is good in these other areas...." That is fine. The fact is - where it counts - whether it is size, speed, maintence, security, etc - Fox from a data perspective, cannot match SQL Server.
