I liked your answer. It makes sense to do as you suggested relative to checking out a prospective VFP employee.

By the way, in spite of his rude reply to me, I never said I wanted contract work from them. I believe I said I wanted a full-time position, but was looking for a company who would be understanding of my recent disabilities and allow me to work from my home office for Anywhere, USA.

I would never trade living in FL for living in NY. Nothing against New Yorkers, but I prefer FL Winter weather over NY Winter weather. I am sure New York is a nice place to visit. I lived up North (North Central Great Plains area) through high school and know all about blizzards, living with them and driving in them. I will take a hurricane over a blizzard any day.
