Hi Steve,
You're doing better than me. I had only 5 interviews in total (though I didn't actively search lately). The problem is, that they do not tell you anything after the interview. That's quite depressing :( I would prefer a firm "NO" than silence. In some cases I was trying to find out the result to no avail... None of my "thank you for the interview" letters got a reply...
One position was an exact fit and a great opportunity for me. It was through recruiter, so after the interview I asked her several times how is it going. Finally she called and told me, that they are passing on me. As I understood, the situation changed, some boss died, and they never hired anyone (I was only one for the position considered)... Bad luck indeed...

>I have a job interview in the morning as a tech writer for a local medical software company. I have been job hunting since the last of my two heart procedures this Summer. I have been averaging about one interview per week, but it takes forever to hear back from a company after an interview and most of the jobs seem to have 15 applicants or more.

If it's not broken, fix it until it is.
