I've had that when I have interrupted the code in the debugger when it was about to go into print preview - so some of the printer settings were engaged already. Didn't really try to track it down to what was it; the cursor vanished altogether from everywhere, including command window. Thanks to speed of today's machines, it was just so easy to quit fox and reload. Never happened at runtime, so I didn't worry.
