Hello Kevin

IMHO MH was trying to prove a point here. He postulated a wide-open principle to see who would participate. I suspect that MH would agree with you that the premise needs boundaries- e.g. "for the mom-and-pop grocery stores out there, which database is most flexible" or "for eBay, which database is most flexible" - that is assuming we agree that "flexibility" is a key attribute for those examples. But to wallow around in a wide open morass seems argumentative to the extreme.

"... They ne'er cared for us
yet: suffer us to famish, and their store-houses
crammed with grain; make edicts for usury, to
support usurers; repeal daily any wholesome act
established against the rich, and provide more
piercing statutes daily, to chain up and restrain
the poor. If the wars eat us not up, they will; and
there's all the love they bear us.
