They are possible, but you have to have the ability to "listen" for the events. The vfpcom dll is the only easy way you have in fox to listen to and respond to events. For email, you can tap into outlook events. As for other events, you are going to have to tap into something that will listen for whenever an application is started. I don't know the exact answer on how to do this.
