Title:
System.Web.dll doesn't appear to be registered
Hi all,
I'm new to .net (forcing myself to make time).
Anyhow, I have .net v1.1 installed no my machine (via MSDN subscription, not download).
Anyhow, IIS is ok, open up VS.net and create a new project.. ok
On the default "Webform1.aspx" form that is brought up, I just put a simple label on the form, saved and exited the project.
I bring up the browser and ...
//localhost/MyVirtualProjDirectory/WebForm1.aspx
It give an error at line 1 of the page which references the Global.asax file which has the
Inherited from System.Web.HttpApplication.
Apparently, the registry or whatever can't see it. I searched and found that the dll is based on system.web.dll in the .net version framework directory.
What am I missing to get even the first step going.
Thanks
