Hi John,

I have only run a few of the samples in JBuilder that demo JBuilder's database features. I haven't gotten around to building a Java form/applet that connects to Postgresql, but I'm sure Java will prove very capable in this critical area.

I'm still currently focused on a shopping cart app using Komodo IDE, Active State Perl, and Postgresql as the database server. I need to polish the interface, debug the code, write help and Readme files, etc. Below is a link to the demo, if your interested. Any pointers or suggestions are welcomed.

I would like to hear your opinion of Jbuilder/Java as a platform for accessing database servers, especially how it compares with VFP in ease of use and capabilities. If I get around to testing Jbuilder DB features first, I'll do the same.

Regards,
