I have never seen anything like this happen - and I have been working with Fox for nearly 10 years. When VFP is trying to run a long query, and the status bars pop up, it sometimes freezes the computer because fox takes all the resources - but I don't think that simply moving the mouse is actually making the process restart.

Can you recreate this? And make it happen with consistency?

Any type of input such as moving the mouse allows VFP to continue processing. This has happened over the years to me on a variety different computers. Does anybody have any idea how to prevent this?

I haven't found a way to prevent the query status bar from appearing during long queries. Does anybody know how to prevent the query status bar from appearing?
