Good luck getting your new machine online. I upgraded this summer, after getting back to work. (I was out for 15 months, just after buying a house. Kind of enjoyed the break for a little while, though.) It was long overdue, I had a P3 450MHz. Now I have a P4 4.2GHz, with a gig of RAM! Even Windows XP loads noticeably faster, finally. Still, it's not as instant as I'd like. I guess when we replace the C: drive with a flash-RAM drive, maybe that will happen, or maybe Microsoft will make it load slowly on purpose(sometimes I wonder).

>Actually, this is something you can do in VFP without the API. Just instatiate a picture/image object and add the fully qualified file name as the source. The object has height and width properties you can reference.
