Yeah, I guess the network drivers take their toll. You're probably right, I don't think Windows will ever be an instant up OS. Especially with all the checking for new hardware and stuff like that going on.
I already tried and figured out the syntax for the Image object. It works great. To think, I spent quite a while looking around in Knowledge bases here and there and didn't find this information anywhere. Even on MS's site. I guess I just didn't use the right key words for the search.

The new box is a P4 2.8 ghz, but here at the office we're running Win2K Pro. At home, I've got an Athon XP 2000+ (1.67 ghz). XP Home boots up about as fast as I could ask for and I don't expect to see that much of a performance difference between my home box and the one at work because of the differences in chip design and the fact that the home machine doesn't have to load network drivers, etc.
