Set the Grid.Readonly = .t.

Suppose also that you want to prevent the user from editing the table via the browse grid. If I set the grid enabled to false the grid becomes unfunctional and useless. If I set the textbox within the grid to enabled=false the user is unable to select the record for navigational purposes.
