Hi,
Thank you for your reply and link.
I have read the message. If I understand correctly, that is not what I want. The message is discussing about adding layer to the framework. Instead, I have did it by adding I-Layer to all classes, and use vcxedit to "switch" control in composite class to my new I-layer class. It takes me half days to accomplish it.

Ok, back to my question, what I am trying to do now is create a data environment, like what you see in generic.pjx. All data environment classes is subclass of environment. Whereas, environment is not a valid class unless qstart.app rename the classname and replace all it's subclasses with my project name.

I tried to use class designer to subclass environment but VFP return "illegal name" error.

Any ideas?

Thank you
